What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
