What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
